The South Plains College Board of Regents approved a resolution setting the tax rate of $0.216192 for fiscal year 2008-09. Information regarding this action taken September 2, 2008 is provided below.

Board Vote on Proposed Tax Rate for Fiscal Year 2008-09

On September 2, 2008, the South Plains College Board of Regents met in regular session to vote on a proposed ad valorem property tax rate of $0.216192 for fiscal year 2008-09. Regent Bobby Neal made the motion to approve the proposed tax rate and Regent Linda Patton seconded that motion. The result of that vote is as follows:
