Career Counseling

Career and Self Evaluation: HUDV 1200

Offered both in traditional class format and on the internet, this course is designed to assist students with exploring career fields and choosing educational goals to get them there. Students cover a variety of topics including: Personality, Career Interests, Abilities, Values, World of Work, Resumes and Interviewing.  Inventories are given to assist the student in discovering their talents, areas of strength, and how those apply to careers.

On-Campus Resources

Career Center: Levelland

Located adjacent to the Counseling Center the career center houses a career library full of books, videos, and other resources to aid in the career research process.  There are eight computers for student use equipped with programs for Research, Resume Writing, and Inventories . 

Career Center: Reese

Located in the Counseling Center in Building 8, the Reese career center houses a career library and computers for student use equipped with programs for Research, Resume Writing, and other helpful materials. 

Individual Career Consultation

Students are encouraged to visit with the counseling staff if they have any questions about a career field beyond what can be discovered through our online career center resources.
