    Courses listed below are “Core course” requirements and should meet Freshmen/Sophomore degree requirements for most Bachelor degrees.

    * DUAL CREDIT:  If a student has Dual Credit for courses, an OFFICIAL college transcript is REQUIRED before credit may be accepted.  A student should NOT repeat these courses.

     FALL GATEWAY STUDENTS ONLY:

    HUDV 1100  This is a RECOMMENDED course for all Texan to Techsan…A Gateway to Success students.  This course allows students to meet fellow Gateway students, build relationships with each other, develop a mentoring relationship with one of the Reese Center Counselors, and learn to incorporate stronger study habits, behaviors and attitudes for improved college success.  During the fall semester counselors use this course to disseminate information regarding the Gateway program, update information from TTU and students will attend a presentation informing them about the many possibilities at TTU.

     *****MATH STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT PASSED THE MATH PORTION OF THE TSI MUST BE ENROLLED IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING MATH COURSES.  COURSE SELECTION IS BASED ON PLACEMENT SCORES.

    Natural Science:  The Reese Center does not offer any lab sciences so students wishing to take a science will need to attend the Levelland campus or courses may be taken at another college and transferred back to SPC for degree completion.

    Technology and Applied Science: 3 hours

    **If a student took this course through Tech-Prep, it will satisfy the Technology requirement with SPC but will not transfer to TTU.  Education majors are not required to take this course, however, the skills taught in this course are pre-requisite skills for the computer course Education majors are required to take.

**These courses do not need to be taken in sequence.  Business majors need these courses.  One of these courses may be used as a Behavioral Science in other degrees.

Humanities:  3 hours ENGL all English courses in literature (excluding Technical Writing).  Students must have completed credit for ENGL 1301 AND ENGL 1302 prior to enrolling in Sophomore English courses.
