Housing Summer I 2007

BE SURE THAT YOU ARE ELIGIBLE AND HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO THE SUMMER PROGRAM.

 

Gateway students are allowed to choose from the following housing options: 

 

RESIDENCE HALLS at Texas Tech University.

This option is available for the Summer I 2007 Gateway students.  Students who choose this option may attend South Plains College-Reese Center for a closer commute.Students participating in the Summer Session Gateway Program may choose to live in the residence halls on the Texas Tech University campus.  You may contact TTU Housing at (806) 742-2661 for reservations and specific details.  Be sure to identify yourself as a Gateway student.

    

RESIDENCE HALLS at South Plains College-Levelland, Tx.

Gateway students may choose to live in the residence halls at South Plains College in Levelland and attend classes at the Levelland campus.  Levelland, Texas is located approximately 25 miles west of Lubbock.  The campus at Levelland is the main campus for South Plains College and offers students the full range of college campus living.  All residence halls are furnished and air-conditioned, providing a comfortable living environment.  Each residence hall features a central lobby where residents may meet with friends to enjoy television programs or other activities.  Food service is provided for students living in the residence halls.  Summer classes meet four days a week, making this option extremely convenient for students without their own transportation.  There is no public transportation from Lubbock to Reese, or Lubbock to Levelland.

OTHER HOUSING OPTIONS:

  • Students are allowed to live off campus with relatives or friends during this time.
  • Students may find many apartments, rent houses and duplexes in the Lubbock area.
