Early Alert Form

The purpose of the South Plains College Early Alert is to promote student success by identifying students whose behaviors indicate a lack of academic success strategies and academic preparation.

Faculty members who recognize students that fail to exhibit successful college skills during the first six weeks of the semester should complete the onlline Early Alert form. Students will be contacted regarding their Early Alert, and will receive information regarding campus resources to assist them. The student's advisor and other offices (Housing, STAR Center, Athletics, etc.) will be contacted as appropriate.

This form is sent to Christina Conner, Retention Specialist, who will then contact the student.

The Early Alert is NOT a Drop Notification; please use the
