FERPA
South Plains College is bound by the Texas Open Records Law, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, and institutional procedures in determining access to or the release of student records. Information regarding these topics can be found in the South Plains College Catalog, the South Plains College Student Guide, as well as the following resources:
Parents of students may obtain access to student records if they meet specific criteria and submit a completed Certification of Dependancy Form to the Dean of Admissions and Records.
A student may restrict release of directory information by submitting a completed Student Privacy Notice to the Dean of Admissions and Records.
