• All students who are trying to apply for the Reese Licensed Vocational Nursing Program MUST take ACCUPLACER as the entrance exam.  Students must take ACCUPLACER Reading, LVN Math, Communication, Sentence Skills and TX WritePlacer Essay and meet the listed cut off scores. 
• Students CANNOT take THEA, ASSET or COMPASS to apply for the Vocational Nursing Program nor can they be exempt. 
• Test fee for ACCUPLACER is $35.00 (for four sections), $30.00 (for three sections) and $20.00 (for one or two sections). 
• ACCUPLACER scores are good for TWO YEARS from the application deadline.
• The Reese LVN Program will begin accepting completed applications on September 2, 2008.  The deadline to apply for the Fall 2008 Vocational Nursing Class is October 30, 2008 at noon.  Applications will not be accepted on Fridays. 
• The department will accept students into the program on a "first come, first served" basis.
• Students may retest on ACCUPLACER twice a semester and must wait two weeks between testing and testing again.
• Students may take the ACCUPLACER anywhere it is offered, but they must make sure that they take these sections of the exam:  Reading Comprehension,  Sentence Skills with the TX WritePlacer Essay, and Communication.  They must also take the LVN Math Test offered only at South Plains College Reese & Levelland Campuses.
