Agriculture

South Plains College and Amarillo College have established a collaborative partnership that enables South Plains College to offer the Agriculture program to students in the Amarillo College service area, as well as SPC's service area. Students will be able to complete the curriculum for an Associate of Science Degree in Agriculture online through South Plains College.

One of the most intensive agriculture producing areas of the world is located on the Texas High Plains. Extensive production in this area assures excellent employment opportunities for students who are seriously considering a career in the agriculture industry.

This curriculum is designed to provide the first two years of study toward a bachelor's degree in agriculture management. Students who complete the Associate of Science degree will have fundamental skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary for job entry into various fields of agriculture.
