Associate Degree Nursing
Associate Degree NursingAdvanced Placement Program
Offered at the Levelland Campus
Advanced placement will be granted to qualifying students
in accordance with their previous nursing education, nursing
experience and completion of RNSG 2307, 2260 and 1115.
Credit for specific nursing courses will be granted to students
on an individual basis and in accordance with the nursing
curriculum by examinations and evaluation. The prerequisite
non-nursing courses must be completed before registering in
RNSG 2307, 2260 and 1115. The following curriculum meets
the requirements for the Associate of Applied Science degree.

** Possible electives include: RNSG 1172 Local Needs in
Nursing- Genetics, RNSG 1172 Local Needs in Nursing-
Alternative Therapies in Health Care, HPRS 1106
Medical Terminology, or any Arts and Sciences elective
course.
