Automotive Collision Repair Body and Frame Technician
Body and Frame TechnicianOffered at the Levelland Campus
This option in Automotive Collision Repair Technology is for
students interested in a career as a body and frame repair technician.
Emphasis is placed on vehicle structural design, measuring
systems, manufacturer specifications, vehicle control
points, build tolerance, metallurgy, steering and suspension,
automotive electrical service and repair, writing thorough and
accurate damage reports. Students are required to participate
in a capstone experience course the final semester. This course
consists of a comprehensive lab project and comprehensive
written exam. Students who successfully complete the curriculum
will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree.
