Design Communications Internet Specialization
Design CommunicationsThe Design Communications program introduces students to
the basic competencies and knowledge required for entry into the
graphic arts field. Training is production-oriented with emphasis
on print media, web site design and multimedia presentation. The
program offers two associate degree options, allowing students to
specialize with an art emphasis or an internet emphasis.
Program advisor is Paul Davidson, instructor in design
communications.
Internet Specialization
Offered at the Levelland Campus
The design communications-internet specialization focuses
on digital illustration and layout techniques for print, web
design, video graphics and multimedia. Students are trained
in the use of industry-standard graphics and design software
and post-design processes in the field. Students take computer
classes to develop their programming and networking skills.
Students completing the following curriculum will receive an
Associate of Applied Science degree.
