Emergency Medical Tech Certificates
Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate CertificateOffered at the Levelland Campus
and SPC Reese Center
This 19-semester-hour curriculum prepares students to
be competent entry-level EMT-Intermediates. Students who
complete this curriculum will possess the knowledge, skills
and personal attitudes and behaviors necessary for practice
as entry-level EMT-Intermediates. All requirements to write
the Texas Department of Health and National Registry of
Emergency Medical Technicians examinations for certification
as EMT-Intermediate are satisfied. Upon successful completion
of the following curriculum, students receive a Certificate of
Proficiency.

competent entry-level EMT-Paramedics. Students who complete
this curriculum will possess the knowledge, skills, and
personal attitudes and behaviors necessary for practice as
entry-level EMT-Paramedics. Upon successful completion of

Proficiency.
