Machinist Trades Certificates
CNC Programming CertificateOffered at the Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center
This certificate program is designed for students who wish
to develop specific job skills in Machinist Trades with a specialization
in CNC Programming. A Certificate of Proficiency is
awarded upon completion of all course work in this program.
Students in this program will learn to convert CAD-CAM
drawings into machine code used by automated machines.
Emphasis will be placed on the planning, preparing and operating
of a computer-assisted machining program. Course projects
will develop skills required by local industry.
This is a TSI-waived certificate. Students declaring this
major are not subject to the TSI regulations unless they enroll
in a course outside the prescribed curriculum.
