Financial Aid for this program is not available through Texas Tech. Students and parents can get PIN numbers (electronic signature) for FAFSA on the web at www.pin.ed.gov/. Once the PIN numbers have been received in approximately one week, students and parents should complete the application online at www.fafsa.ed.gov/ using information from their 2007 tax form.

Master Promissory Notes for FFEL and PLUS loans can be accessed at the South Plains College website at www.southplainscollege.edu/financial aid/loan application process/ under Quick Links, select Financial Aid, from the menu on the left select Loan Application Process (for Fall/Spring). (Other paperwork may be required from students who are coded for verification by the Federal Processor.)
Since funds are limited in each program and awards are assigned as applications are completed, early application for aid is essential.
Fall and Spring deadline is June 10. The Financial Aid Office cannot guarantee that files completed after these dates will be funded before school starts. Students and parents should be prepared to pay tuition, fees and books up front and let gift aid or loans reimburse them at a later date.
